The first is from New Orleans when a couple was walking along a street then they were confronted by three gentlemen turning their lives around;

According to police, two people were walking in the 3100 block of Ursulines Avenue on Thursday about 9 p.m. when they were approached by three men, one of them armed with a handgun. The men ordered the victims to the ground and told them not to move, but that’s when the tables were turned. The male victim, who was carrying his own firearm in plain view in a holster around his waist, removed his weapon and fired it in the direction of the robbers. A short time later, Smith and Carter were stopped by police and arrested in the 1000 block of Hagan Street, police said.

The third robber, who remains at large, was described as being tall and thin,

Yeah, they probably should avoid folks who are carrying the weapon openly next time. They’re lucky that there may be a next time though, because the would-be victim only fired warning shots;

The next story is from Wichita when a man found another fellow trying to break into his home, seeking to turn his life around;

Police say the man living in the home saw the break in happen. He tried to stop the burglar, and the burglar took off and got into a car with two other people.

Police say the resident then fired a shot, hitting the suspect. He called 911 and gave a detailed description of the vehicle to police.

Police stopped the car near Maple and Elder and found the suspect with a gun shot wound. They also found stolen items in the car. The suspect went to the hospital in serious condition. The two other people in the car were arrested.

Chief Tango sends us a link to a couple of feel good stories for your morning … Sunday morning feel good storiesRead more

[218

post-37762","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-feel-good-stories
["GET
