{"id":37287,"date":"2013-08-28T07:32:02","date_gmt":"2013-08-28T11:32:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/valorguardians.com\/blog\/?p=37287"},"modified":"2013-08-28T07:32:02","modified_gmt":"2013-08-28T11:32:02","slug":"thug-shorty-was-selling-us-crack","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.azuse.cloud\/?p=37287","title":{"rendered":"Thug: Shorty was selling us crack"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In a link from <a href=\"http:\/\/usnews.nbcnews.com\/_news\/2013\/08\/27\/20213257-suspect-in-wwii-vet-slay-we-were-buying-crack-from-victim?lite&#038;gt1=43001\">NBC <\/a>sent to us by Ex-PH2, the second thug, 16 year-old Kenan Adams-Kinard, who was finally arrested in the murder of WWII combat veteran, &#8220;Shorty&#8221; Belton in Washington State claims that the whole thing started when the two youths were trying to buy drugs from &#8220;Shorty&#8221;;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>An affidavit from prosecutors says that while he was on the run for four days, Adams-Kinard told two friends that the beating was the result of a drug deal gone bad. Police seized a letter signed with Adams-Kinard\u2019s name that gave a similar account.<\/p>\n<p>The letter said that after buying a \u201czip of crack cocaine from Shorty,\u201d the teens \u201cproceeded to sock him.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI took his wallet and another ounce of crack from his pockets,\u201d the letter said, according to the court document. \u201cHe was unconscious so I made sure he was still breathing, and then I took off.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The letter was purportedly an explanation the teen was writing to his mother, police said.<\/p>\n<p>Spokane police said they doubted the drug-buying story, with spokeswoman Monique Cotton saying in a statement: \u201cWe have no evidence to support that.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Even Glenn\u2019s lawyer, Christian Phelps, said he was highly skeptical of the claim, which was disclosed during Adams-Kinard\u2019s court appearance on Tuesday.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Yeah, Kenan, we believe that shit.
