I just jump  into combat mode. I told him I\u2019m going to give you a warning shot,\u201d said Thompson.<\/p>\n<p>But police say that was not the right move.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere was nothing that the suspect was doing that was aggressive enough to justify the shooting. In fact, the suspect was walking  away,\u201d said Medford Police Lt. Mike Budreau.<\/p>\n<p>Thompson was charged with Unlawful Use of a Weapon, Menacing and Reckless Endangering.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"500\" height=\"300\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/bXdKqEzFFUE\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>So, I guess that Thompson learned his lesson. Next time he should just drill the criminal and not waste his ammo on warning shots.
