PSC sends us a link to the adventures<\/a> of 77-year-old John Lewis of South Memphis who came face-to-face with a burglar in his home;<\/p>\n

He peaked out his bedroom and found himself face-to-face with a burglar, \u201cHe told me about three times \u2018close your door or I will shoot you. I got a gun.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lewis says he obeyed the burglar and went back in his bedroom, but when straight to where he hides his gun, \u201cI came back out and I shot him.\u201d<\/p>\n

The 77-year-old fired three times, hitting Travis Weddle twice.<\/p>\n

Police say when bullets grazed his chest and wounded his hand, Weddle ditched the 55-inch TV and got out of there,.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe came out the door and hollered back \u2018I left my keys in there\u2019 His car was parked out here. A white Maxima.\u201d<\/p>\n

Grandpa wasn\u2019t giving him the car keys so the injured burglar had to walk.<\/p>\n

He got about a mile before calling police on himself saying he\u2019d been shot!<\/p>\n

\u201cI would have shot him too,\u201d said Nieghbor Calvin Jackson.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
