{"id":35656,"date":"2013-05-16T12:52:44","date_gmt":"2013-05-16T16:52:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/valorguardians.com\/blog\/?p=35656"},"modified":"2013-05-16T12:52:44","modified_gmt":"2013-05-16T16:52:44","slug":"witness-protection-program-missing-two-suspected-terrorist-participants","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.azuse.cloud\/?p=35656","title":{"rendered":"Witness Protection Program missing two suspected terrorist participants"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>From CNN&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/thelead.blogs.cnn.com\/2013\/05\/16\/first-on-cnn-witness-protection-program-lost-two-former-known-or-suspected-terrorists\/?hpt=hp_t2\">Jake Tapper<\/a> comes the news that an audit of the Justice Department&#8217;s Witness Protection Program has found two suspected terrorists in the program are unaccounted for;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>The Justice Department issued a statement, saying, &#8220;The number of former known or suspected terrorists ever admitted into the WitSec Program represents a fraction of one percent of the total WitSec population, and the vast majority were admitted into the program prior to Sept. 11, 2001.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;To date, the FBI has not identified a national security threat tied to the participation of terrorism-linked witnesses in the WitSec program.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>I&#8217;m pretty sure that&#8217;s what they said about Nidal Hassan and the Tsarnaev brothers, too. And, for some reason that &#8220;fraction of one percent&#8221; quote doesn&#8217;t make me feel all that warm and fuzzy, either. How many does it take to perpetrate a terrorist act?
