both organizationally and in scope &#8211; than originally reported.<\/p>\n<p>Here new highlights that have been reported over the last 24 hours or so:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Senior IRS officials knew about ideologically-motivated targeting of IRS-scrutiny by lower-level subordinates <a href=\"http:\/\/www.reuters.com\/article\/2013\/05\/14\/us-usa-tax-irs-idUSBRE94B08I20130514\">as early as August 2011<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/politics\/obama-denounces-reported-irs-targeting-of-conservative-groups\/2013\/05\/13\/a0185644-bbdf-11e2-97d4-a479289a31f9_print.html\">Individuals at IRS HQ appear to have been directly involved<\/a> in the targeting of conservative groups by the IRS.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/r\/2010-2019\/WashingtonPost\/2013\/05\/13\/National-Politics\/Graphics\/Organization4a.pdf\">A ridiculously excessive amount of information was requested from conservative groups so targeted,<\/a> including requests for lists of donors, applying for tax-exempt status.<\/li>\n<li>The acting IRS chief knew about the targeting of conservative groups in early May 2012, but said nothing \u2013 <a href=\"http:\/\/news.yahoo.com\/top-irs-official-didnt-reveal-tea-party-targeting-000016562.html\">even when questioned about the matter at a Congressional matter nearly 3 months later<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>At least one <a href=\"http:\/\/www.politico.com\/blogs\/media\/2013\/05\/kmov-anchor-the-irs-is-targeting-me-163945.html\">member of the media has now alleged that he was targeted by the IRS for harassment<\/a> after interviewing the POTUS, presumably in retaliation.<\/li>\n<li>The Billy Graham Evangelical Association <a href=\"http:\/\/www.politico.com\/story\/2013\/05\/franklin-graham-irs-targeting-91362.html\">has indicated it believes it may have been targeted by the IRS<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>An application for a charity that had been soliciting donations unlawfully for years and which was run by the POTUS&#8217;s half-brother <a href=\"http:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2013\/05\/14\/irs-official-lerner-approved-exemption-for-obama-brothers-charity\/\">was approved in June 2011 in roughly one month<\/a> &#8211; with the approval retroactive to December 2008.\u00a0 (Some conservative groups applying for tax-exempt status have seen waiting periods of more than 3 years.)<\/li>\n<li>White House spokesman Jay Carney has acknowledged that some individuals at the White House (not identified) <a href=\"http:\/\/www.weeklystandard.com\/blogs\/carney-wh-people-were-aware-irs-targeting-conservatives-didnt-do-anything-about-it_724455.html\">\u201cwere aware\u201d that the IRS was targeting conservative groups and did nothing<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Yes, the above appears to draw a rather troubling picture. \u00a0But don\u2019t worry.\u00a0 The Administration has everything under control.\u00a0 Nothing to see here;
