Sinclair&#8217;s (presumably) <a href=\"https:\/\/www.azuse.cloud\/?p=33778\">high priced legal team<\/a> is getting results.\u00a0 The Army has dropped one charge against him.<\/p>\n<p>Sinclair is <a href=\"http:\/\/www.armytimes.com\/article\/20130514\/NEWS\/305140004\/Prosecutors-will-drop-alcohol-related-charge-against-Army-1-star-sex-case\">no longer charged with alcohol possession<\/a>.\u00a0 Military prosecutors have agreed to drop that charge.<\/p>\n<p>His defense team is also asking that the charges relating to porn possession be tossed.\u00a0 They&#8217;re claiming that others had access to the computer, and that the search &#8220;violated Sinclair&#8217;s First Amendment rights&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Um, yeah.\u00a0 Somehow I don&#8217;t remember people serving in-theater on active duty having quite the same freedom to speak their mind and\/or access sexually explicit materials as your typical civilian in CONUS.\u00a0 But maybe I&#8217;m wrong.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.azuse.cloud\/?p=32631\">other charges against Sinclair<\/a> &#8211; including forcible sodomy, indecent acts, violating orders and adultery &#8211; remain in effect.<\/p>\n<p>Stay tuned.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Well, it looks like Jeffery A.
