{"id":34796,"date":"2013-03-27T18:32:42","date_gmt":"2013-03-27T22:32:42","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/valorguardians.com\/blog\/?p=34796"},"modified":"2013-03-27T18:33:33","modified_gmt":"2013-03-27T22:33:33","slug":"west-virginia-life","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.azuse.cloud\/?p=34796","title":{"rendered":"West Virginia life"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>So, while we sit out here in our mountainside tarpaper shacks watching the rest of the country scramble to constrict the rights of their citizens, tomorrow in the West Virginia legislature they&#8217;re considering expanding the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nraila.org\/legislation\/state-legislation\/2013\/3\/west-virginia-house-committee-to-consider-critical-progun-reform-tomorrow.aspx?s=&#038;st=&#038;ps=\">rights of gun owners<\/a>;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Tomorrow, the West Virginia House Judiciary Committee will consider <a href=\"http:\/\/www.legis.state.wv.us\/Bill_Status\/bills_text.cfm?billdoc=hb2431%20intr.htm&#038;yr=2013&#038;sesstype=RS&#038;i=2431\">House Bill 2431<\/a>, sponsored by Delegate Rupie Phillips (D-24).  HB 2431 would amend the application process for a Concealed Pistol\/Revolver Permit, making West Virginia permit holders eligible for exemption from the National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS).  Such carry permit holders have already cleared a background check.
