ROS sends us a link to NPR’s “All Things Considered” (another media thing I miss daily) where they interviewed the Vice-Moron and he told them that the only folks who worry about their gun being confiscated are the “black helicopter crowd” says Politico<\/a>;<\/p>\n

“The idea that you register your guns \u2013 it may make logical sense to say this, but there isn\u2019t a constitutional right to own an automobile. There is a Second Amendment Constitutional right to own a weapon: the right to have and bear arms,” he said in an interview with NPR’s “All Things Considered.”<\/p>\n

“When you go to registration, it raises all the black-helicopter-crowd notion that what this is all about is identifying who has a gun so that one day the government can get up and go to the house and arrest everyone who has a gun, and they\u2019ll cite Nazi Germany and all that.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Yeah, he says all that, but then he doesn’t bother to allay those fears that he’s coming for our guns. He just tells the audience that he’s been through all of this before, you know, as the smartest man on the planet, and that he’s pretty confident that he’ll get another opportunity to ban scary-looking black rifles for their purely cosmetic frightening features that cause Leftists to emote in their pants.<\/p>\n

My experience…is that this doesn\u2019t necessarily happen in one fell swoop….We are going to continue to push for logical, gun safety regulations. Eventually the will of the people is going to prevail and we\u2019re going to keep at it.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Yeah, well, we already have “logical gun safety regulations”, Joe, and the whole “will of the people” is just wishful thinking.
