{"id":34389,"date":"2013-03-04T07:41:29","date_gmt":"2013-03-04T11:41:29","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/valorguardians.com\/blog\/?p=34389"},"modified":"2013-03-04T17:00:39","modified_gmt":"2013-03-04T21:00:39","slug":"time-for-more-dog-control","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.azuse.cloud\/?p=34389","title":{"rendered":"Time for More Dog Control?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Maybe.\u00a0 It seems like a police K9 in Massachusetts managed to fire a pistol into an occupied dwelling.<\/p>\n<p>Police in Lawrence, MA, were investigating 3 shots fired.\u00a0 They spied a vehicle containing suspects.<\/p>\n<p>The suspect vehicle led police on a high-speed chase.\u00a0 When it stopped, one of the vehicle&#8217;s occupants got out and buried something in a snowbank.<\/p>\n<p>The police detained the 3 occupants of the vehicle.\u00a0 The police soon afterwards released a K9, who located the buried object &#8211; which turned out to be a firearm.\u00a0 In doing so, however, the K9 managed to discharge the weapon into an occupied dwelling.\u00a0 Thankfully there were no injuries.<\/p>\n<p>The 3 occupants of the vehicle are now facing various charges.\u00a0 No word on whether the K9 was placed on administrative leave pending investigation of a negligent discharge.\u00a0 (smile)<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.myfoxboston.com\/story\/21447747\/2013\/03\/03\/police-dog-accidentally-fires-gun-during-search\">No, I&#8217;m not joking<\/a> &#8211; well, except for the &#8220;administrative leave pending investigation . . . &#8221; part.<\/p>\n<p>At least, I <em>think<\/em> that was a joke.\u00a0 With some big-city police departments, you never know.
