{"id":34343,"date":"2013-02-27T20:41:37","date_gmt":"2013-02-28T00:41:37","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/valorguardians.com\/blog\/?p=34343"},"modified":"2013-02-27T20:41:37","modified_gmt":"2013-02-28T00:41:37","slug":"pfc-roosevelt-clark-home-from-korea","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.azuse.cloud\/?p=34343","title":{"rendered":"PFC Roosevelt Clark, Home From Korea"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Another missing soldier has come home from the Korean War.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.dtic.mil\/dpmo\/accounted_for\/2012\/index.htm\">PFC Roosevelt Clark<\/a>, formerly of Arvin, CA, was assigned to Company E, 35th Infanty Regiment, 25th Infantry Division, US Army.\u00a0 He was lost in action near Unsan, North Korean, on November 28, 1950.\u00a0 PFC Clark&#8217;s remains were among those in 208 boxes of remains repatriated by North Korea between 1991 and 1994.\u00a0 Modern technology allowed the positive identification of PFC Clark&#8217;s remains.\u00a0 His remains were <a href=\"http:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/us\/2013\/02\/27\/remains-korean-war-soldier-reportedly-returned-home-62-years-later\/\">returned to his family today<\/a> for burial.\u00a0 Funeral information is not currently available.<\/p>\n<p>Rest now in peace, my elder brother-in-arms.<\/p>\n<p>Over 7,900 US personnel remain unaccounted for from the Korean War.\u00a0 If you are relative of one of the individuals <a href=\"http:\/\/www.jpac.pacom.mil\/downloads\/FRS\/FRS_Korea.pdf\">listed here<\/a>, please consider <a href=\"http:\/\/www.jpac.pacom.mil\/index.php?page=frs&amp;exempt=3&amp;ind=4\">reading this link<\/a> to see if you qualify to submit a mtDNA sample \u2013 and if you do qualify, please do so.\u00a0 By doing so, you may be able to help identify US remains that have been repatriated but not yet positively identified.<\/p>\n<p>Everybody deserves a proper burial.\u00a0 That\u2019s especially true for those who gave their all in the service of this nation.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Another missing soldier has come home from the Korean War.
