Smith, Georgia Idiot"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>You would think that a state lawmaker should be at least passingly familiar with the US Constitution.\u00a0 After all, there is this little thing called the &#8220;Supremacy Clause&#8221; in the US Constitution that says if state and Federal law conflict, Federal law takes precedence.\u00a0 Plus there&#8217;s also that pesky little fact that the US Constitution is the &#8220;supreme law of the land&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Well, apparently someone forgot that.\u00a0 As in Earnest G. Smith, Representative for the Georgia House of Representatives District 125.<\/p>\n<p>Seems that Smith is none too pleased about a recent rather crude but arguably complimentary bit of Photoshop satire which imposed his head on the body of a porn star.\u00a0 So he&#8217;s come out in favor of\u00a0 making such vulgar satirical use of Photoshop illegal in Georgia.\u00a0 &#8220;No one has a right to make fun of anyone,&#8221; he says.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/news.cnet.com\/8301-17852_3-57569287-71\/politician-moves-to-make-vulgar-photoshopping-illegal\/\">No, I&#8217;m not kidding<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>What a freaking idiot.\u00a0 But he managed to get elected anyway.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>You would think that a state lawmaker should be at least passingly familiar with the US &hellip; <a title=\"Earnest G.
