{"id":33753,"date":"2013-01-22T11:51:00","date_gmt":"2013-01-22T15:51:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/valorguardians.com\/blog\/?p=33753"},"modified":"2013-01-22T11:51:00","modified_gmt":"2013-01-22T15:51:00","slug":"stevens-warned-clinton-of-security-concerns-hours-before-death","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.azuse.cloud\/?p=33753","title":{"rendered":"Stevens warned Clinton of security concerns hours before death"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.washingtontimes.com\/news\/2013\/jan\/21\/in-cable-the-day-he-died-us-ambassador-warned-clin\/\">The Washington Times<\/a> reports that Ambassador Chris Stevens sent a prescient message to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton hours before he was killed by jihadists at the US consulate in Benghazi, Libya on September 11th last year;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Militia leaders told U.S. officials just two days before the attack that they were angered by U.S. support of a particular candidate for Libyan prime minister and warned \u201cthey would not continue to guarantee security in Benghazi, a critical function they asserted they were currently providing,\u201d Stevens wrote in the cable the morning of Sept. 11, 2012.
