Today was suppose to be the day that Father and daughter would be reunited. But this has been canceled due to a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/news\/article-2263376\/Terry-Achane-baby-Utah-court-puts-temporary-hold-returning-adopted-daughter-2-soldier-dad.html\">stay from the Utah Supreme Judge. <\/a> <\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\nThe Utah Supreme Court today put a temporary hold on a trial judge&#8217;s orders to return a little girl to her soldier father after she was given up for adoption without his consent two years ago.\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The Salt Lake Tribune posted the reason for the stay in the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sltrib.com\/sltrib\/news\/55636119-78\/court-utah-adoption-married.html.csp\">following statement<\/a>. <\/p>\n<blockquote><p>The high court said the provisional stay on the petition for emergency relief filed by the adoptive parents would give it &#8220;the time necessary to adjudicate the request for emergency relief,&#8221; but did not indicate how long that might take.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It could be a day or two, it could be a week,&#8221; Wiser said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>This happened eleven days after the presiding Utah Judge <a href=\"http:\/\/www.standard.net\/stories\/2013\/01\/05\/utah-judge-says-adoptive-parents-must-give-child-father\">refused to stay his judgement<\/a>. I was wanting that this have a better outcome, but the sliver lining is that the process is not over.
