Inspired by Dick’s Sporting Goods, Sheila Jackson-Lee took to the floor of the House to encourage us to turn in our weapons. From The Hill<\/a>; <\/p>\n

“I would personally just say to those who are listening, maybe you want to turn in your guns,” Jackson Lee said on the House floor. “Oh no, I’m not going to take your guns. But look at what Dick’s Sporting Goods did … they wanted to be part of the solution and part of America.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

So, I guess the “solution” is to goad legal gun owners to just surrender their weapons and their rights to The State. <\/p>\n

So, my answer; I just ordered a Remington Model 700 Long Range Tactical rifle in .338 Lapua Magnum. Just the sort of weapon that will drive the liberals wild. It’s got a detachable box magazine and in the military style, but it’s a bolt action rifle, so it looks scary, especially with the muzzle brake and the bullets are huge. It’s not for hunting anything smaller than water buffalo, I bought it just to keep me occupied. It’ll be delivered Monday according to FedEx.<\/p>\n
