<\/a><\/center><\/p>\nWe’ve attracted the attention of some of our allies downunder. The folks at ANZMI<\/a> (Australian & New Zealand Military Imposters) sent us a link to one of their own phonies, David Bergin. Bergin claims that he was in the Australian Army, when he was able to transfer to the US Navy where he flew Apache helicopters and also became a colonel in the SEALs. I can’t find any evidence that the Navy even uses Apaches, the Marine Corps still uses Cobras, as far as I know.<\/p>\n Even if it was true, why would the Navy need a SEAL-trained helicopter pilot? And there are no colonels in the Navy, dingus.<\/p>\n You can see in the picture above, Bergin claims he was awarded the Navy Cross. The only Bergin with a Navy Cross was Charles Bergin in the Second World War<\/a>. According to ANZMI, bergin also claims that he was also awarded the Medal of Honor (of course), but he lost it. That happens all of the time. Who can keep track of those things?<\/p>\n Yeah, his story is so convoluted that I’m not even going to bother our experts looking for him in our rolls and declare him a phony as he stands.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
