The police say she removed the device and put in on her car and then called the police.<\/p>\n<p>I don&#8217;t think I would have removed it. I&#8217;m no demo expert &#8211; except that I know how to apply the &#8220;P&#8221; principle to destroy stuff (P = plenty).<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Police Cmdr. Mike Hirman tells The Seattle Times that officers confirmed the item was an improvised explosive device. No one was hurt.<\/p>\n<p>The woman found a fused device with tape around it attached to her gas cap.
