{"id":31659,"date":"2012-08-19T18:19:05","date_gmt":"2012-08-19T22:19:05","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/valorguardians.com\/blog\/?p=31659"},"modified":"2012-08-19T19:30:20","modified_gmt":"2012-08-19T23:30:20","slug":"blame-it-on-jonn-a-sunday-silly","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.azuse.cloud\/?p=31659","title":{"rendered":"Blame it on Jonn &#8211; A Sunday Silly"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In an odd confluence of events Jonn recently told me not to be so paranoid (via email) AND then posted<a href=\"https:\/\/www.azuse.cloud\/?p=31653\" target=\"_blank\"> this<\/a>?<\/p>\n<p>This post is to amplify MY concerns.<\/p>\n<p>Let us start with a definition:<\/p>\n<p>paranoid\u00a0[p\u00e6r-n-d]<\/p>\n<p>1.\u00a0(Psychiatry) of, characterized by, or resembling paranoia<br \/>\n2.\u00a0(Psychiatry)\u00a0<em>Informal<\/em>\u00a0exhibiting undue suspicion, fear of persecution, etc.<\/p>\n<p>This poor Marine got taken in because he espoused weird ideas. Weird as defined by most rational folks.<\/p>\n<p><strong>But, where do we draw the line?<\/strong> As Jonn noted this particular case demands a deeper look.<\/p>\n<p>Us &#8216;Nam vets have had an undeserved stigma attached for decades, but I think you&#8217;ll find few intercessions like this one.<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s the silly bit: Even though Mr. Raub was singled out is it paranoid for us vets to look over our shoulders? That DHS warning is quite real. Toss in the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.splcenter.org\/get-informed\/news\/splc-report-number-of-patriot-groups-militias-surges-by-244-in-past-year\" target=\"_blank\">SPLC report<\/a> and&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>The question really does interest me. BTW, Jonn seems more concerned about zombies than I am.
