Stars & Stripes <\/a> reports that the magnetically attached bombs which our troops saw in the final days of the Iraq War are beginning to make an appearance in resupply convoys from Pakistan into Afghanistan. <\/p>\n

\u201cAll the proof and evidence is that these come from a neighboring country,\u201d Sediq Sediqqi, the spokesman for the Afghan Ministry of the Interior.<\/p>\n

The recent attacks happened in quick succession:<\/p>\n

– On July 13, Hanifa Safi, Laghman province\u2019s head of women\u2019s affairs, was killed and 11 other people were injured by a magnetic bomb attached to her car in Laghman\u2019s capital.<\/p>\n

– Three days later the same type of bomb blew up a district governor\u2019s car in Kunduz, killing a bodyguard and wounding eight others.<\/p>\n

– On Wednesday, 22 NATO supply trucks were blown up in quiet Samangan province by suspected sticky bombs.

– Also Wednesday, police in neighboring Baghlan province caught suspected insurgents trying to attach magnetic bombs to yet more supply trucks.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Of course, that’s because this war against terror has always been Iran’s proxy war and they should have been serviced along with Iraq.
