Some have served though most have not;
\nTaken all in all, they’re a sorry lot,
\nWho lie to find their missing needs,
\nPromote themselves on others’ deeds.<\/p>\n
While cooks and clerks they may have been;
\nThey dream themselves as fighting men.
\nAnd not content to be just grunts,
\nThey expose themselves through foolish stunts.<\/p>\n
While any combat should be enough;
\nThey need to prove they’re really tough.
\nTo get their glory, to seal the deal,
\nIt’s Ranger, SF or Navy SEAL.<\/p>\n
And even there, they’re not content
\nWith claims of service false and bent;
\nTo bolster lives of lack and pallor,
\nThey make false claims to deeds of valor.<\/p>\n
In uniforms so bright adorned,
\nWith unearned honors all suborned,
\nThey always give away their games
\nWith lofty medals, shameless claims.<\/p>\n
They always go a bridge too far,
\nRevealing who they really are;
\nTil we cut them at their sorry knees,
\nThese phony warrior wannabees.<\/p>\n
We sheepdogs know who is our foe:
\nThe wolves who bring our flocks to woe;
\nBut also shams as sheepdogs clothed,
\nWorth only scorn and to be loathed.<\/p>\n
And while our highest court has ruled
\nThese fakers’ right to keep us fooled;
\nAll sheepdogs now must join the fight
