Apparently, the trolls are angry because we brought down their only viable candidate for Arkansas’ 3rd Congressional District, Ken Aden<\/a>. We’re “Waffen SS” for policing our ranks and keeping the spirit of the Stolen Valor alive…ya know because the Supreme Court said the remedy for lies is more truthful speech, and apparently the trolls don’t want more speech when it comes to their liars. Of course, the troll in question opens his missive by calling us Nazis<\/a> and then says some mumbling bullshit about how he supports the troops, and thanks us for our service. Color me surprised.<\/p>\n

But, to keep the spirit of the Stolen Valor Act alive, I’ll continue with the Ken Aden story; the Arkansas Gazette says that Aden’s latest response is to pretend that if he ignores everyone long enough, the problem will just go away;<\/p>\n

Aden was not available for comment Tuesday because he was spending the afternoon at home, Gill said. \u201cI don\u2019t want to bother him while he is with his daughter.\u201d<\/p>\n

Aden also has not returned calls from state Democratic Party leaders, according to party spokesman Candace Martin. Party officials asked Aden to apologize last week for exaggerating his military record. <\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Yeah, that should work just fine. I don’t suppose the Democrat Party could just chalk that district up as a loss and cut Aden loose, could they? Just spare the rest of us the spectacle of a veteran clinging to the last few shreds of his dignity and his lies. They were probably going to lose the race in the heavily conservative district anyway, so they can spare themselves the bucks they would have spent trying to redeem the liar.<\/p>\n
