Schroeder- the bogus former Houston-area PTSD counselor for the PTSD Foundation of America Jonn wrote about <a href=\"https:\/\/www.azuse.cloud\/?p=28676\">here<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.azuse.cloud\/?p=28722\">here<\/a> &#8211; is about to find out the truth of that old saying up close and personal.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.military.com\/daily-news\/2012\/06\/30\/former-ptsd-advisor-charged-with-bogus-records.html\">A Federal grand jury indicted Schroeder<\/a> onThursday, June 29, 2012.\u00a0 The charge:\u00a0 falsifying his DD214.\u00a0 Schroeder faces up to $100,000 in fines and a year in jail.<\/p>\n<p>No, it\u2019s not a felony.\u00a0 But it\u2019s still a good start.\u00a0 And if he&#8217;s convicted, it&#8217;s a Federal criminal conviction.<\/p>\n<p>You may no longer get prosecuted for lying in a bar, or to your buddies, about your military record due to the recent SCOTUS decision regarding the Stolen Valor Act of 2005. \u00a0 But I\u2019d still recommend thinking twice before wearing decorations you don\u2019t rate, or forging a DD214 to support a bogus claim.\u00a0 Those are still Federal crimes; the laws defining them weren\u2019t affected by the recent SCOTUS decision on the Stolen Valor Act of 2005.<\/p>\n<p>Ain\u2019t that right, Paulie-boy?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u201cThe wheels of justice turn slowly, but grind exceedingly fine.\u201d\u00a0 Looks like Paul A.
