{"id":29367,"date":"2012-04-02T11:32:34","date_gmt":"2012-04-02T15:32:34","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/valorguardians.com\/blog\/?p=29367"},"modified":"2012-04-02T11:32:34","modified_gmt":"2012-04-02T15:32:34","slug":"taliban-is-catching-the-ptsd","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.azuse.cloud\/?p=29367","title":{"rendered":"Taliban is catching the PTSD"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Tman sends us a link to an article from <a href=\"http:\/\/news.yahoo.com\/stress-gripes-not-taliban-drive-afghan-insider-attacks-111848816.html\">Reuters<\/a> in which a NATO spokesman reports that the Taliban is catching PTSD from US troops (I&#8217;m guessing &#8211; because you know somehow it&#8217;s related to US troops contant deployments).<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Personal grievances, battle stress, and domestic problems are behind more attacks by rogue Afghan security forces on NATO troops than are Taliban infiltrators, the coalition said on Monday.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Ya mean, like stress from giving the Taliban <a href=\"https:\/\/www.azuse.cloud\/?p=29351\">permission to kill their father<\/a>? Or stress from going around telling your friends that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.azuse.cloud\/?p=28347\">you&#8217;re going to join the ANA so you can kill Americans<\/a>. Stress like that?<\/p>\n<p>It sounds to me like NATO is willing to make any excuse to avoid the actual problem. I mean, it took two soldiers getting shot to death for them to start arming some personnel in their ministry offices. Too late for those guys, but at least everyone has their desks facing the door now, so they can see the bullets coming.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;One of the things that we are finding is that in many cases there were signs and symptoms that could have been seen, and leadership has to be improved to make sure that those signs are seen in the future, in time before an incident happens.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Oh, no shit Sherlock?
