Jeff sends us a link to MSNBC<\/a> who tries to muddy the waters surrounding the SSG Robert Bales discussion with the testimony of a child witness who charges that there were twenty or so soldiers with Bales when he committed murder in the Afghanistan village a few weeks back;<\/p>\n

\u201cOne man entered the room and the others were standing in the yard, holding lights,\u201d Noorbinak said in the video.<\/p>\n

A brother of one victim told Hakim that his brother\u2019s children mentioned more than one soldier wearing a headlamp. They also had lights at the end of their guns, he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey don\u2019t know whether there were 15 or 20, however many there were,\u201d he said in the video.<\/p>\n

Army officials have repeatedly denied that others were involved in the massacre, emphasizing that Bales acted alone.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

A child’s testimony is virtually useless, since they’re more likely to talk about their impressions of the events and their impressions are distorted by their lack of experience in realty. Afghanistan children are habitual liars, according to people I’ve talked to in regards to this instance. They often repeat lies that are spoon-fed to them by adults. <\/p>\n

But what makes me disbelieve the story most is that Bales’ lawyer would have said something about it by now since he’s seized on every other excuse for his client in the last week or so.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
