{"id":29234,"date":"2012-03-22T11:10:08","date_gmt":"2012-03-22T15:10:08","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/valorguardians.com\/blog\/?p=29234"},"modified":"2012-03-22T11:10:45","modified_gmt":"2012-03-22T15:10:45","slug":"gertz-coup-in-china","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.azuse.cloud\/?p=29234","title":{"rendered":"Gertz: Coup in China?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>If it was anyone except Bill Gertz, I wouldn&#8217;t even mention it, but in his column today &#8220;Inside the Ring&#8221; in the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.washingtontimes.com\/news\/2012\/mar\/21\/inside-the-ring-436080940\/\">Washington Times<\/a>, Gertz says that bloggers are reporting gunfire and tanks in the streets in Beijing near the Politburo;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>The Internet discussions included photos posted online of tanks and other military vehicles moving around Beijing.<\/p>\n<p>The reports followed the ouster last week of senior Politburo member and Chongqing Party Secretary Bo Xilai, who was linked to corruption, but who is said to remain close to China\u2019s increasingly nationalistic military.<\/p>\n<p>Chinese microblogging sites Sina Weibo, QQ Weibo, and the bulletin board of the search engine Baidu all reported \u201cabnormalities\u201d in Beijing on the night of March 19.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Of course, Chinese censors removed the comments on blogs soon after they posted.
