This seems very strange to me. We know that he was president of the Harvard Law Review and graduated Cum Laude from Harvard Law; so who really cares about his undergraduate grades?

I’m not writing this because I care (because I don’t) but rather the strange reaction from the Obama camp to refuse to release the grades.

This could be a ploy by Axlerod and if so, a good one. We are all anticipating an “October Surprise” from one or both parties. If Axlerod has Obama’s grades and they are stellar, allowing the media to chase a shadow until he can come out and squash the rumor attack would be brilliant.

That’s likely the case isn’t it? I mean, let’s be honest; we know he got accepted into Harvard law so his undergrad grades had to be top-notch right? Otherwise, how in the hell would a kid with no history of Harvard grad relatives (the infamous legacy program) ever get through the gate?

Of course there is one other way for a mediocre student to get into Harvard…political connections.

Investors Business Daily looked into Mr. Obama’s unlikely and very interesting road to Harvard.

Election ’08: Does Barack Obama owe his meteoric rise to an Israeli-hating adviser to a Saudi billionaire? Why did a race-baiting mentor to the Black Panthers favor this yet unknown community organizer?

In her stunning national political debut as the Republican candidate for vice president, Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin described Obama as a man who had written two memoirs but no significant laws or reforms. So how did this unaccomplished community organizer rise to fame and fortune? He had some interesting help.

Read the whole article; it is certainly thought provoking. It sure raises the issue of past associations that have helped the young senator along his meteoric climb. The interesting part was the quotes from Percy Sutton, a long time Democrat operative and part of the New York City political machine.

I admit that I was very curious how a political player like Sutton (Malcom X’s former attorney) could have the slightest interest in a “community organizer” from Chicago.

He told NY1 reporter Dominic Carter on “Inside City Hall” that he was introduced to Obama by a friend raising money for him. The friend asked Sutton to write a letter in support of Obama’s application to Harvard law school.

“The friend’s name is Dr. Khalid al-Mansour, from Texas,” Sutton said. “He is the principal adviser to one of the world’s richest men. He told me about Obama.”

Sutton recalled that al-Mansour said, “There is a young man that has applied to Harvard. I know that you have a few friends up there because you used to go up there to speak. Would you please write a letter in support of him?” Sutton did.

The meat is “a friend raising money for him…”

Mr. al-Mansour was representing the Saudi Royal family and he was raising money for Barack Obama’s venture into Harvard? It would be beyond absurd to suggest that their relationship was any passing matter.

I will let others ask the huge questions like:
Why would an advisor to the Saudis “raise money” for Obama?
How deep is Obama’s relationship with this race baiting, anti Semite?
Is there a radical racists left that hasn’t got ties to Obama?

These are interesting questions and I’m sure the right side of the blogosphere will dig deeper into these intrigues.

Here’s a much simpler question that I have for Obama.

Could you please release copies of the college loans that hampered you and Michelle for years as you have stated were some burdensome?

“Barack and I were in that position. Up until a few years ago, we were struggling to figure out how we would save for our kids.”

“The only reason we’re not in that position is that Barack wrote two best-selling books,” she explained. “It was like Jack and his magic beans.”

His first book, Dreams from my father, was published in 1996 and outside of academic circles didn’t fly off the shelf. It was re-released in 2004 after his stirring speech at the Democrat Nation Convention. It became an overnight sensation and quickly became a best seller.

Why would anybody being sponsored by the likes of Percy Sutton and an advisor to the Saudi Royal family need a college loan?

A minor buzz has started over Obama’s refusal to release his grades from his undergraduate studies … Why Obama Can’t/Won’t Release his College GradesRead more

[5

post-2903","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-politics
["GET
