I know he&#8217;s responsible for many of you being here at TAH, I also correctly predicted that he&#8217;d beat us for the Milbloggies award last year, because I recognize talent when I see it.<\/p>\n<p>I don&#8217;t know Lex well, so I&#8217;ll let the people who did know him tell you about him;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/aw1tim.wordpress.com\/2012\/03\/07\/one-of-our-own\/\">AW1Tim<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.blackfive.net\/main\/2012\/03\/lex.html\">Blackfive<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.usni.org\/2012\/03\/07\/pardon-him-theodotus-neptunus-lex-carroll-lefon\/\">USNI<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.susankatzkeating.com\/2012\/03\/neptunus-lex-1960-2012.html\">Susan Katz Keating<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.thedonovan.com\/archives\/2012\/03\/there_is_a_univ.html\">Argghhh!<\/a><\/p>\n<p>An old interview with him on <a href=\"http:\/\/milblogging.com\/index.php?entry=entry060810-233502\">Milblogging<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>All I know is that would have been his choice for meeting his last moments. He went out doing what he loved and with his boots on. What more could any man ask for from his Maker?
