Somewhere in South Carolina, local hunters were planning on a day of pigeon hunting when they were thwarted by animal rights activists who threatened to film the activity with their drone aircraft. When the hunt was canceled, the hippies decided to launch their crude aircraft anyway. Then they got upset when pigeon hunters shot down their bird<\/a>;<\/p>\n

“Seconds after it hit the air, numerous shots rang out,” Hindi said in the release. “As an act of revenge for us shutting down the pigeon slaughter, they had shot down our copter.”<\/p>\n

He claimed the shooters were “in tree cover” and “fled the scene on small motorized vehicles.”<\/p>\n

“It is important to note how dangerous this was, as they were shooting toward and into a well-travelled highway,” Hindi stated in the release. He said someone from SHARK called the Colleton County Sheriff’s Department, which took a report of the incident.<\/p>\n

The Colleton County Sheriff’s Department filed a malicious damage to property incident report.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

So, just to make sure I got this right, the hippies stopped some hunters from shooting things down from the skies, so they launched their thing that can fly in celebration and they’re upset that it got shot down? Seems to me it was inevitable. If they didn’t want their little toy shot down, they shouldn’t have launched it. I’d be tempted to shoot at it, too.<\/p>\n
