Well, it seems the peaceful hippie shits tried to escalate the situation by tossing bricks into the faces of the officers who were merely doing their jobs according to the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/local\/occupy-dc-camp-raided-by-police\/2012\/02\/04\/gIQAwDoCpQ_story.html\">Washington Post<\/a>;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>There were tense moments. Late in the afternoon, a police officer was struck in the face by a thrown brick. A man was taken into custody in connection with the incident.<\/p>\n<p>In McPherson Square, where protesters once slept, ate hot meals and snuggled in friendly \u201ccuddle puddles,\u201d they can now stay overnight only if they stay awake, keeping only unfurnished tents for the purpose of a round-the-clock vigil, police said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Of course, some protesters complained that they weren&#8217;t being tear-gassed;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cWe\u2019re being evicted without tear gas,\u201d said Melissa Byrne, a protester from the District.<\/p>\n<p>Schlosser said that police had moved in to do temporary \u201cnuisance abatement\u201d and that cleaning crews had found health hazards that included filthy bedding, bottles full of urine and several dead rats.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Yeah, I would be proud of myself if the police had to come in and clean up after me wearing Hazmat suits.
