{"id":28426,"date":"2012-01-23T12:16:21","date_gmt":"2012-01-23T16:16:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/valorguardians.com\/blog\/?p=28426"},"modified":"2012-01-23T12:16:21","modified_gmt":"2012-01-23T16:16:21","slug":"rantings-of-the-sanest-person-in-the-room-gets-seal-tossed-in-mental-ward","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.azuse.cloud\/?p=28426","title":{"rendered":"Rantings of the sanest person in the room gets SEAL tossed in mental ward"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Swamper sends us <a href=\"http:\/\/www.theblaze.com\/stories\/nyc-police-throw-navy-seal-into-psych-ward-for-claiming-hes-a-seal\/\">a link to The Blaze<\/a> which describes the experience with the New York Police Department of one SEAL;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Twenty-nine-year-old Shaun Day was on a leave from his duty as a Navy SEAL duty when cops nailed him for running a red light in Manhattan, New York on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>NYPD officers searched Day\u2019s pickup truck and found a 9mm semiautomatic pistol and three magazines full of ammo.<\/p>\n<p>During the arrest, police claim Day was babbling incoherently and repeatedly claimed that he was an elite Navy SEAL with \u201ctop- secret clearance,\u201d but was unable to provide any documentation for police.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>I&#8217;ll admit that I have doubts about anyone who tells me they&#8217;re a SEAL these days, but a rubber room at Bellevue seems a bit extreme.
