The Paratroop brigade carried out one of the largest exercises in the unit\u2019s history last night. All the unit\u2019s department and squadron commanders took part in the exercise in Israel\u2019s south.<\/p>\n

During the exercise, the forces simulated the massive parachuting of nearly a thousand soldiers\u2014one of the largest exercises in the brigade\u2019s history.<\/p>\n

Last month, Col. Amir Baram, the Paratroop brigade commander, told newspaper \u201cIsrael Hayom\u201d that \u201cFrom our perspective, this is the last training before war. This is our premise given the situation in the region, and particularly given the situation in the Gaza Strip.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
