{"id":28128,"date":"2011-12-29T20:50:31","date_gmt":"2011-12-30T00:50:31","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/valorguardians.com\/blog\/?p=28128"},"modified":"2011-12-29T21:39:29","modified_gmt":"2011-12-30T01:39:29","slug":"more-on-that-one-mile-walk-ltc","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.azuse.cloud\/?p=28128","title":{"rendered":"More on that &#8220;one mile walk&#8221; LTC"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A little bird emailed us last night that we should check further into <a href=\"https:\/\/www.azuse.cloud\/?p=28100\">LTC Chris Cote<\/a>, the Air Force Lieutenant Colonel who filed an EO complaint against the Air Force&#8217;s unfair standards for the one-mile walk. So I went over and checked the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.airforcetimes.com\/news\/2011\/03\/air-force-dover-wing-commander-accused-of-discrimination-032011\/\">Air Force Times<\/a> and he&#8217;s been in the news there before.<\/p>\n<p>Apparently a gang of LTCs got together and complained about their boss, the wing commander at Dover Air Force Base, DE, Col. Randal Bright;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Lt. Col. Chris Cote alleges Bright retaliated against him after he told Bright in an e-mail that he didn\u2019t appreciate being called a \u201closer\u201d in a staff meeting. He believes he received a referral officer performance report and other negative reviews because of the e-mail.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>I guess it never occurred to Cote that maybe he got negative reviews because he might indeed be a loser.
