Okay, so it really<\/strong> ain’t a joke?
\nRon Paul: Iran wants to disrupt world oil supply because we are provoking them<\/a><\/p>\n

How would I deal with the threat or the so-called threat of the Iranians, that they are going to disrupt the oil supply?<\/p>\n

Well I\u2019d be provoking them a lot less because they\u2019re reacting to the provoking of the West saying \u201cwe\u2019re gonna put on sanctions\u201d. We have them surrounded with nuclear weapons and we\u2019re claiming that they\u2019re gonna build a nuclear weapon and there\u2019s no evidence for this.<\/p>\n

So we\u2019re just looking for trouble. We\u2019re building the war propaganda against Iran just as we did against Iraq.<\/p>\n

And it\u2019s the march on. You know it\u2019s Libya and it\u2019s in Egypt and now we\u2019re involved in Syria, now we\u2019re sending troops into Africa. And also, of course we\u2019re still in Iraq, we\u2019re into Pakistan and we\u2019ve been in Afghanistan for a long time.<\/p>\n

And people want to go to war against Iran. And I think they\u2019re reacting to the provocations of so many other people saying that \u201cwe\u2019re liable to bomb you because you are building a nuclear weapon.\u201d But our CIA doesn\u2019t confirm that nor does the UN confirm that.<\/p>\n

So they\u2019re acting actually in a rational manner because they\u2019re saying \u201cthey\u2019re gonna attack us and start bombing us\u201d. They have to say \u201cwell, we don\u2019t have any nuclear weapons, we can\u2019t really defend ourselves. So we might sink a boat, sink a ship out there in the Persian Gulf\u201d, hoping that we might back off.<\/p>\n
