{"id":27244,"date":"2011-10-30T11:51:30","date_gmt":"2011-10-30T15:51:30","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/valorguardians.com\/blog\/?p=27244"},"modified":"2011-10-30T11:52:10","modified_gmt":"2011-10-30T15:52:10","slug":"27244","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.azuse.cloud\/?p=27244","title":{"rendered":"Muslims to DoJ: stop killing us before we can kill you"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Old Trooper sends a link from <a href=\"http:\/\/terrorismwatchmen.patriotactionnetwork.com\/2011\/10\/28\/muslims-tell-doj-to-find-a-way-to-criminalize-criticism-of-islam\/\">Terrorism Watchmen<\/a> and the <a href=\"http:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2011\/10\/21\/progressives-islamists-huddle-at-justice-department\/\">Daily Caller<\/a> which recounts how the Justice Department met with Islamic leaders who urged the DoJ to help them disarm this country;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Top Justice Department officials convened a meeting Wednesday where invited Islamist advocates lobbied them for cutbacks in anti-terror funding, changes in agents\u2019 training manuals, additional curbs on investigators and a legal declaration that U.S. citizens\u2019 criticism of Islam constitutes racial discrimination.<\/p>\n<p>The department\u2019s \u201ccivil rights lawyers are top of the line \u2014 I say this with utter honesty \u2014 I know they can come up with a way\u201d to redefine criticism as discrimination, said Sahar Aziz, a female, Egyptian-American lawyer.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Yeah, I don&#8217;t see any problem with that&#8230;well, except that it violates our first amendment rights as well as abrogates government&#8217;s responsibility to protect us &#8211; that pesky &#8220;provide for the common defense&#8221; phrase in the Constitution.
