{"id":27093,"date":"2011-10-19T08:02:12","date_gmt":"2011-10-19T12:02:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/valorguardians.com\/blog\/?p=27093"},"modified":"2011-10-19T08:57:11","modified_gmt":"2011-10-19T12:57:11","slug":"la-swat-loses-60-weapons","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.azuse.cloud\/?p=27093","title":{"rendered":"LA SWAT loses 30 weapons"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In a link sent by Old Trooper, <a href=\"http:\/\/losangeles.cbslocal.com\/2011\/10\/17\/submachine-guns-pistols-stolen-from-lapd-swat-training-site\/\">CBS Los Angeles<\/a> reports that the LA SWAT lost 60-some weapons including scores of submachine guns;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>The 21 MP-5 submachine guns and a dozen Colt 45 automatic pistols were taken from a locked container inside the Kennedy Building on San Pedro Street, police officials said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The weapons were apparently configured for training ammunition and can&#8217;t be used to fire live ammo as they currently exist. I don&#8217;t know what that means, but I do know that if that many weapons were missing in the Army, everyone would be confined to the barracks until they&#8217;re recovered.
