Among the folks running the race through DC were wounded warriors running on ther various prosthetic limbs. From <a href=\"http:\/\/weaselzippers.us\/2011\/10\/09\/shameful-code-pink-leftists-protest-wounded-warriors-running-in-army-ten-miler-event\/\">Weasel Zipper<\/a>s, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thegatewaypundit.com\/2011\/10\/code-pink-activists-interrupt-wounded-warriors-at-annual-army-run\/\">Gateway Pundit<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/politicons.net\/sick-leftist-anit-american-code-pink-activists-interrupt-wounded-warriors-at-annual-army-run\/\">Politicons<\/a>, anf the <a href=\"http:\/\/pohdiaries.com\/army-ten-miler-code-pink-protests-those-who-make-it-possible\/\">POH Diarie<\/a>s. And they wonder why we call them hags.<\/p>\n<p>I usd to run the 10-miler when I taught ROTC. It was a great run. the last time I was there was as race support with 82 Airborne Division Association in 2000. The following year, of course, it was cancelled because of the events the previous month. It was always a great event that brought together soldiers from around the world.
