Duncan Hunter, a Republican, sent a letter to Defense Secretary Leon Panetta on Tuesday citing four examples of troops he believes may have been overlooked for the nation\u2019s highest military valor decoration.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The article goes on to mention a number of potential candidates including <a href=\"https:\/\/www.azuse.cloud\/?p=26800\">Alwyn Cashe who we mentioned the other day<\/a>.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.armytimes.com\/news\/2011\/10\/army-medal-of-honor-pentagon-draws-flak-for-rarity-100311w\/\"><br \/>\nThe Army Time<\/a>s says;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>That\u2019s a significantly lower rate than any other American war over the past century \u2014 0.25 Medals of Honor for every 100,000 troops who served.
