Apparently, they cook dinner for the homeless, make women&#8217;s shelters, and raise money for the needy. but what that has to do with their efforts to put barcodes on bullets, I have no idea.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Specifically, they want bar codes on bullets as a way of tracking killers and reducing gun violence.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;There are too many unsolved shootings,&#8221; Funches said. &#8220;Take the bullets and trace them back. It will connect people to who bought the ammunition.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Yeah, but like everything else, law abiding citizens are the ones who will foot the bill for it. If I shoot someone, you won&#8217;t need a bar code because I&#8217;ll be the first to tell the police that I did it, but, I&#8217;ll also be paying for the ammo makers to put the bar code on bullets. Even if the barcoding begins today, there are millions of unmarked bullets out there.
