{"id":26512,"date":"2011-09-14T10:38:50","date_gmt":"2011-09-14T14:38:50","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/valorguardians.com\/blog\/?p=26512"},"modified":"2011-09-14T10:41:34","modified_gmt":"2011-09-14T14:41:34","slug":"more-schepansky-antics","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.azuse.cloud\/?p=26512","title":{"rendered":"More Schepansky antics"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Someone sent us a link to the <a href=\"http:\/\/plymouth-mi.patch.com\/articles\/schepansky-military-letter-raises-army-eyebrows\">Plymouth Patch<\/a> article about a letter that Schepansky has submitted to the Canton Board of Education as proof of his claims that he is a Special Forces officer.<\/p>\n<p><center><a href=\"https:\/\/www.azuse.cloud\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/Schepansky-letter.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.azuse.cloud\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/Schepansky-letter-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"Schepansky letter\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" class=\"alignnone size-thumbnail wp-image-26513\" \/><\/a><\/center><\/p>\n<p>A commenter at the article pretty much covers everything that is wrong with the letter;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>First the zip code from this letter is North Carolina, not Indiana. I was stationed at Ft. Ben in 1991, I don&#8217;t remember this command there.<\/p>\n<p>Also, that seal, the &#8220;United States War Office&#8221; hasn&#8217;t been used in decades.<\/p>\n<p>Also note the zip code is wrong for the &#8220;Griffin Consulting&#8221;, allegedly in New York, listed in the address line.<\/p>\n<p>There also doesn&#8217;t appear to be a 1670 Jefferson Avenue in White Plains, NY&#8230;Jefferson Avenue in White Plains is a residential street.<\/p>\n<p>Finally, all U.S. Army officers are commissioned by the President, with advice and consent from the U.S. Senate.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Not to mention;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>The letterhead on the stationery, dated Sept. 19, 1999, appears to be from the Department of the Army&#8217;s Personnel Administration Center, based at Fort Benjamin Harrison, IN.
