{"id":26422,"date":"2011-09-07T11:56:44","date_gmt":"2011-09-07T15:56:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/valorguardians.com\/blog\/?p=26422"},"modified":"2011-09-07T11:56:44","modified_gmt":"2011-09-07T15:56:44","slug":"phony-colonel-sentenced","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.azuse.cloud\/?p=26422","title":{"rendered":"Phony colonel sentenced"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.azuse.cloud\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/05\/7555381-1273164527-600x450.jpg\" alt=\"Michael hamilton\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" \/><br \/>\nAverageNCO sends us <a href=\"http:\/\/www.witn.com\/home\/headlines\/Fake_Colonel_To_Be_Sentenced_129364923.html\">a link to news<\/a> that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.azuse.cloud\/?p=19016\">Michael Hamilton<\/a>, who we first wrote about last year has finally been sentenced;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>A federal judge sentenced him to 16 months in prison for counts one and two (false statements and larceny of government property, respectively), six months on count three (unlawful wearing of uniform), and 12 months on count four (unlawful claim of military decorations and medals).<\/p>\n<p>The sentences are to run concurrently, meaning the shorter sentences will be completed while serving the longer 16 month sentences.<\/p>\n<p>Hamilton will be on supervised release for three years after his prison term.<\/p>\n<p>The judge ordered Hamilton to pay $37,635 in restitution and $235 for a special assessment fee. The judge did not impose any additional fines, stating Hamilton would not be capable of paying.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>So what if he can&#8217;t pay? Let him work the shit off.
