Well, VFW, how&#8217;s that working out for you?<\/p>\n<p>According to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/politics\/2011\/08\/29\/vfw-accuses-white-house-snubbing-annual-convention\/\">Fox News<\/a>, the Obama Administration blew them off this year;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>The Veterans of Foreign Wars convention this week will not feature a top-tier official from the Obama administration, a breach in tradition that the group&#8217;s commander described as an &#8220;insult of the highest magnitude.&#8221; <\/p>\n<p>However, an administration official claimed Monday that the White House made &#8220;every effort&#8221; to provide a speaker for the event, offering up a range of top officials.\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Yeah, &#8220;top tier&#8221; &#8211; Susan Rice, the UN ambassador. So I guess those endorsements have really paid off for the VFW. The American Legion has no PAC and that&#8217;s where the President is making his appearance. So what&#8217;s Joe Biden doing that he can&#8217;t make it to the VFW Convention in San Antonio? Not much according to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.whitehouse.gov\/schedule\/vice-president\/2011-W36\">his schedule this week<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>So that&#8217;s what members are getting for their PAC.
