{"id":26250,"date":"2011-08-19T15:32:47","date_gmt":"2011-08-19T19:32:47","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/valorguardians.com\/blog\/?p=26250"},"modified":"2012-12-22T18:01:52","modified_gmt":"2012-12-22T22:01:52","slug":"my-nice-new-golden-german-badges","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.azuse.cloud\/?p=26250","title":{"rendered":"My nice new Golden German Badges"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/sphotos-b.xx.fbcdn.net\/hphotos-ash4\/294359_274309195917259_4827885_n.jpg\" width=\"440\" height=\"520\" class=\"alignnone\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Some of you may or may not know but there was a chance to earn the German Sch\u00fctzenschnur and <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/German_Armed_Forces_Badge_for_Military_Proficiency\" title=\"German Armed Forces Badge for Military Proficiency\">Armed Forces Badge for Military Proficiency<\/a> sometimes incorrectly refereed to the Sportsman badge. It was from June to mid July to complete all the requirements of the badges. Yesterday I finally received one of the badges. I am still waiting to receive the Sch\u00fctzenschnur  but I have the personal action paper in my OMPF (Online Military Personal File) <\/p>\n<p>I earned the Sch\u00fctzenschnur on<a href=\"https:\/\/fbcdn-sphotos-a.akamaihd.net\/hphotos-ak-ash4\/246939_233038193377693_100000145431507_1165720_7658126_n.jpg\" title=\"June 6th\"> June 6th<\/a>. However I wanted to go in a corner and cry when people did not see the Irony of of earning a German award on the date of D-Day. Or perhaps it was the fact that no one knew that D-Day is on June 6th. <\/p>\n<p>I earned the second one on June 22nd with the Last event of the 3000 meters in 14:30. It was nice considering that I did not get the EFMB last year and missed a chance to go this year.
