It seems that active duty Air Force Staff Sergeant Daryn J. Moran<\/a>, who we read about earlier today is a bigger douche than we originally thought. The Stars & Stripes<\/a> did some digging and it turns out that he’snot AWOL at all. He’s in the process of being discharged.<\/p>\n

Staff Sgt. Daryn Moran \u201cis currently outprocessing for discharge from the Air Force, which was previously approved by his commander on August 4th,\u201d Air Force officials said late Wednesday. \u201cWhile we are aware of the comments that appear on various Web sites attributed to Staff Sgt. Moran, officials with United States Air Forces in Europe will not discuss nor characterize those comments.\u201d<\/p>\n

In an online statement and video posted this week at BirtherReport.com, Moran calls for \u201cAmericans to arrest Obama\u201d and said he hasn\u2019t reported to his job at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center since last Thursday.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey haven\u2019t even called my house yet, but they will come for me soon,\u201d Moran wrote in a Sunday posting, adding that he\u2019s willing to go to jail for his beliefs.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

So what are his beliefs? At this point we can’t be sure. Further down the story he tells this wild-ass tale;<\/p>\n

In a separate WorldNetDaily.com story posted last month, Moran claimed he was facing a medical discharge from the Air Force for failing to support the \u201cdon\u2019t ask, don\u2019t tell\u201d repeal, which will allow gay and lesbian troops to serve openly in the military. A military medical board found, \u201che was unable to keep his personal opinions out of the office,\u201d Moran said, according to the story.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Yeah, see that’s why I ignore those links you guys send me from World Net Daily. Anyone with half of a brain would know that even if the Air Force was discharging him for opposing the repeal of DADT, they wouldn’t say it out loud…and it certainly wouldn’t qualify him for a medical board.<\/p>\n
