{"id":26026,"date":"2011-07-30T09:51:46","date_gmt":"2011-07-30T13:51:46","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/valorguardians.com\/blog\/?p=26026"},"modified":"2011-07-30T09:51:46","modified_gmt":"2011-07-30T13:51:46","slug":"report-iraq-more-dangerous","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.azuse.cloud\/?p=26026","title":{"rendered":"Report: Iraq more dangerous"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Who could have imagined that the general climatein Iraq would have gotten more dangerous after the President announced a withdrawal date&#8230;well, who besides everyone in the Bush Administration and the whole right side of the country (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/world\/middle-east\/us-review-finds-iraq-more-dangerous-than-a-year-ago\/2011\/07\/30\/gIQAkHvuiI_story.html?hpid=z2\">Washington Post<\/a>); <\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cIraq remains an extraordinarily dangerous place to work,\u201d U.S. Special Inspector General for Iraq Reconstruction Stuart W. Bowen Jr. wrote in his quarterly report to Congress and the Obama administration. \u201cIt is less safe, in my judgment, than 12 months ago.\u201d<br \/>\nThe findings come as Washington awaits a final decision by Iraqi leaders on whether they want U.S. troops to stay in the country beyond the expiration of a three-year security agreement in December.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>So in an effort to become the anti-Bush, Obama announced a withdrawal date to appease his ignorant base and by doing so has sentenced more Iraqis to death as well as American troops still stationed there. SOnow the discussion is not when we leave, but should we leave at all. <\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Bowen\u2019s report noted that 14 U.S. troops were killed by hostile fire in Iraq in June, the bloodiest month since April 2009.
