{"id":25495,"date":"2011-06-30T19:50:27","date_gmt":"2011-06-30T23:50:27","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/valorguardians.com\/blog\/?p=25495"},"modified":"2011-06-30T20:17:16","modified_gmt":"2011-07-01T00:17:16","slug":"utah-veteran-gets-medals-60-years-delayed","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.azuse.cloud\/?p=25495","title":{"rendered":"Utah veteran gets medals 60 years delayed"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Dressed in his trim Air Force blue uniform, 86-year-old Provo, Utah resident <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ksl.com\/?nid=148&#038;sid=16179236\">Myron Brown was awarded the Distinguished Service Cross<\/a>, Silver Star and Purple Heart for his actions as a B-26 pilot during the Korean War over Pyongyang.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>April 20, 1951, during a night bombing attack against a heavily defended railroad yard in Pyongyang, Korea, anti-aircraft fire took out one of his B-26\u2019s engines.
