It is being reported<\/a> that one person has been arrested and two are being investigated in regards to a suspicious vehicle and perhaps some bookbags near the Pentagon; <\/p>\n

Route 27 between Arlington Cemetery and the Pentagon and other roads have been closed as police investigate a vehicle found in the bushes on the side of the road, a Pentagon official said. The road closure will affect commuters on their way to the Pentagon, the official said.<\/p>\n

A suspicious person found at Arlington Cemetery tipped off police to the vehicle, the official said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Some of what I wrote above comes from a live Fox News broadcast. Steve Doocey also reports that the vehicle contained al Qaeda literature and spent 9mm shell casings. He also reports that authorities are preparing to do a “controlled demolition” of the vehicle. That ought to wake up DC.<\/p>\n

Jennifer Griffin reports that police found 5 pounds of ammonium nitrate inside the vehicle.<\/p>\n

The Fort Myers Police Department encountered this guy last night and he fled from them and when captured he wasn’t very forthcoming with answers from the police.
