Actually, it’s not surprising at all; the Justice Department has decided that they won’t charge the Department of Justice lawyer who leaked to the media about the Bush Administration’s warrantless “eavesdropping” program. (AP\/Stars & Stripes link<\/a>);<\/p>\n

The department informed Thomas Tamm’s attorneys that he will not be prosecuted for the leak that then-President George W. Bush called a breach of national security.<\/p>\n

Tamm has said he called The New York Times about the program because it “didn’t smell right” and he thought the public had a right to know.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Yeah, who really expected this Justice Department to prosecute someone who helped to smear the Bush Administration and endangered our National Security.
