Ritter&#8217;s charges that he was being targeted by the Bush Administration for retribution <a href=\"http:\/\/www.timesunion.com\/default\/article\/Ritter-convicted-in-sex-sting-1338155.php\">didn&#8217;t work this time<\/a>;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Jurors in Monroe County convicted Scott Ritter, 49, on six of seven counts. He was acquitted on a criminal attempt charge. Ritter had no reaction as the verdict was announced Thursday. His twin 18-year-old daughters sobbed.\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Ritter&#8217;s lawyer claimed that the Pennsylvania jury was probably &#8220;troubled and offended&#8221; by the video of Ritter beating his soldier. Who wouldn&#8217;t be?<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Sentencing will be next month.
