It sat until March 18, when someone decided to X-ray the package and found that it might contain a bomb, he said.<\/p>\n<p>The guards then notified the Federal Protective Service and Detroit police and the package was moved outside the building, where the police bomb squad recovered it, he said.<\/p>\n<p>Detroit police said they recovered a package on Friday from the federal building and detonated it.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>We can put all of the security measures in the world into place, but as long as we have drooling morons manning those measures, we&#8217;re still in danger.<\/p>\n<p>And the mayor of Detroit demands a recount of the census numbers which places the population of Detroit back to it&#8217;s pre-auto manufacturing days before 1910. I guess <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pbs.org\/newshour\/rundown\/2011\/03\/-sarah-hulett-of-michigan.html\">one person moves out of Detroit every 22 minutes<\/a>.
