Sometimes old wounds get torn open.<\/p>\n

We have a CinC who never served, surrounded by more who are so arrogant that they don\u2019t realize might have missed something by not wearing the uniform, sending our folks into harms way.<\/p>\n

Set aside the mode (the UN made me do it), and just keep the above in mind.<\/p>\n

For me this is a \u201cbeen there, done that\u201d moment.<\/p>\n

Of course, the context is NOT the same \u2013 and any parallels inexact, but I think I can invoke LBJ with ease to explain my concerns.<\/p>\n

Left with a holdover war from the last President, LBJ made half-hearted decisions that were, at best,\u00a0 peripheral to HIS agenda.<\/p>\n

Sadly, there is little malice in either case, just little folks paying the price.<\/p>\n
